Luxury paper bags require GSM selection, handle strength, bottom board reinforcement and premium finishing control.
150gsm kraft paper is suitable for medium retail bags; 250–300gsm white card with bottom board is recommended for heavier luxury retail packaging.
Cotton rope, ribbon and twisted paper handles should be tested for pull strength. 12 kgf per handle pair is a useful premium target.
Hot foil, embossing, spot UV and soft-touch lamination should be planned with logo size and scratch resistance requirements.
